2009 recap & looking ahead to 2010

2009 has been an incredible inaugural year at Collect! We have had the pleasure of partnering up with DWR for art shows and sales, opened two gallery spaces in Old Oakland where we have hosted art workshops, print sales, film screenings, food tastings, a benefit for the Children's Hospital of Oakland in partnership with Suru, and various art and design shows.

2010 will continue to be a successful year at Collect with more shows at DWR, the continuation of our monthly print sales and short-film screenings, and many art shows, including one featuring artists, Gabriela Hernandez-Lepe and Rachel Orimo, scheduled for January 12th. Thanks all for your support and we look forward to seeing you at our future events!

european short film screening

Our first film event was such a tremendous success that we're doing another one. Please join us at Collect Annex on Wednesday December 9, 2009 as we screen a series of incredible European short films on our freshly painted cinema-wall on loop for three hours. Subtitles will appear where necessary.

Drop by any time and enjoy some complimentary light snacks and refreshments.
